You Can Learn Piano Online Like This Guy

I read this article and warm feeling came over me. We live in a day and age when tight-knit family events are not as common as they used to be. Of course, there are exceptions and I was happy to find this one.

The guy wanted to inspire his kids to play piano, obviously realizing that if they had music as part of their daily lives, they were likely to be more fulfilled. Lessons with a teacher were not feasable so he made the decision to learn piano online (article is at that link). You can read the little story for yourself, but the short version is that he succeeded at doing what he wanted to and then some. He got hooked on playing piano, and the whole family ultimately became involved. How nice.

He had a nice Steinway in his living room, but you don't need to have a Steinway baby grand to be enjoying the piano. There are plenty of pianos that are available for free or low cost. If you check out your local paper, you are likely to find people looking to sell upright pianos all the time. Don't frown upon the idea, because some of these pianos are the best thing you'll come across! Hint: become acquainted with a piano technician (not someone who is just a piano tuner... get a "technician") who is eager to help you out by checking out a piano once you come across one. The small fee you will pay him or her is totally worth it. In the process, you're apt to learn a whole lot from this person. Communicating with them may even lead to your locating a rare find for no or low cost! There's a lot of this going on out there, so don't think the opportunities are few and far between.

Of course, you can get yourself a digital piano. If you like the benefit of turning down the volume and/or playing with headphones for privacy, this is a good option.

Get a piano in your house... one way or the other! And start learning. Learn piano online by hooking up with this site... PianoAmore.net ... you'll get a great start with lots of encouragement!

By the way, don't place high demands on yourself (unless this motivates you, of course). Take it in stride... enjoy the whole process. Let me put it this way... if you have a choice between turning on the television and sitting in front of it for two hours or sitting at that piano keyboard, guess which is better for you. You already know the answer.

Get addicted to learning piano.
